If you are eligible, you might have received this notification from Sapporo  around late July, with free coupon(s) and a health check-up booklet for cancer screening test(s) enclosed.

All the free cancer screening tests must be completed by March 31, 2025.
You can only use the coupon(s) at designated medical institutions.
Please make appointments early since they are likely to be fully booked right before the expiration date, especially between February and March.

There are 2 types of screening tests.

For pap smear screening (including taking medical history, check-up, and pelvic exam.)
A free coupon will be sent to you around late July, 2024 if you are:
a registered resident of Sapporo as of April 15, 2024 and
a female, 20 years old as of April 1, 2024.
For breast cancer screening with mammography
A free coupon will be sent to you around late July, 2024 if you are:
a registered resident of Sapporo as of April 14, 2024 and
a female, 40 years old as of April 1, 2024.
