21 Nov Dental Check-up for Pregnant Women　妊産婦歯科健診

Though pregnancy makes the risk of dental diseases such as caries and periodontal disease higher, they can be prevented through proper dental care. We hope to ensure you have a stress-free delivery by maintaining good dental hygiene during pregnancy.

As such, Sapporo City offers free dental check-ups and consultations for pregnant women. During the checkup, a dentist will examine your teeth and indicate whether or not there is any swelling of the gums.

To book an appointment, call your local health center. Please be sure to bring your “Boshi-Techo” (maternal and child health handbook) for your expecting baby.
