What vaccinations are required in countries you have lived in, or will live in in the future?
Many governments require that children have vaccinations before they go to school or kindergarten.
Also, when traveling abroad, you need to get immunized against certain diseases.

Prices for Non-Routine Vaccination
- Vaccines not normally available in Japan
OPV (Oral Polio Vaccine)
- Vaccines available only at special hospitals such as Sapporo-City General Hospital, Ohige Sensei’s Kodomo Clinic, and Makomanai Kids Clinic.

- Rabies Vaccine
- Malaria
- Tick-borne encephalitis (TBE)
- Typhoid Vaccine
- Meningococcal Vaccine (MCV)=ACWY or menactra

- A tuberculin skin test is needed prior to BCG vaccination if the child is over one year old, and to be vaccinated at Sapporo-City General Hospital. BCG vaccination is not given if he/she has a positive tuberculin skin test. As for routine vaccination for children younger than 1 year old. BCG is not given here.
