….Regarding Halal food info, I have made a file with various food ingredients that are OK, and those that are forbidden or doubtful. I made this file long time ago when I was student and it was revised by a Japanese teacher in the International Students Center in Hokkaido University (ISC). It was also distributed for some time by the ISC to Muslim students and I always give it to surrounding friends and colleagues.
The file can be useful to Japanese language beginners since the food items are written in Kanji, Kana and Reading in Romaji beside the meaning.
At the end of the file I include my name and e-mail to receive any comments, inquiries or corrections regarding the file.
I attach the file to this e-mail and I give you permission to use it as you wish. You are free to upload the whole file or to extract info from it and use it on the SEMI page.
